Good cappuccino but nothing spectacular. No microfoam and espresso was a bit on the watery side. Excellent variety of dairy free milks available, at no extra cost. 4 tables inside and a handful of tables outside when sunny. Friendly barista.
High grade coffee is by far the most delicious coffee I’ve tasted in London. The oat, and art was just on point (flat oat). These guys clearly know what they are doing! Apart from the delicious taste, the baristas were very chatty, and explained anything I’d ask. That goes without saying that it made our experience even better. Definitely worth a try! ✨????☕️????????♂️ Thanks guys,
High Grade Coffee is s stripped back affair, but the posse behind the counter are really where its at. You will need to know your retro pop tunes to be able to converse with them as they lurch from Lo-Fi beats that seem to be the preference of the dude in the hat who bares a slight resemblance to the turntablist Kid Koala through to "You're so vain" by Carly Simon which upon playing will be thoroughly danced to by the lady barrista working the machine. Look out for the funny little marks on the counter top where the dude taps his milk jug and takes pride in his latte art. Good cakes. Keep living the dream guys.
The best of the best ! 100% the best coffee on brick lane ( who am I kidding in all of London) everyone at high grade knows how to have a fun time and serve up a bunch of deliciousness
Superb warm welcome and introduction to this micro-roastery, interesting chat about the various beans and then my first ever on-demand fresh roasted coffee. Beautiful flavour and finish. Fresh baked pastries and sandwiches loaded with filling we will have to come back and try. Top people top coffee, much love.
