A very cosy nice cafe in Bethnal Green Road. There are so many cafes on the same street, but we chose this one as the outdoor seating was inviting with nice cushions. It was a very hot day when we went. Perfect for iced coffee! We couldn’t resist trying the flapjack and lemon muffin in the photo. The indoor seating area looks really nice as well.
Beautiful latte art and the guy even brings you a cup of water so you stay hydrated after drinking the coffee, which is very thoughtful. The decor is nice and lots of greenery. The flat white itself was a bit average but the coffee shop stays open until 7pm which is great for anyone coming after work.
Cute coffee shop; I had the cinnamon carrot cake and hot chocolate, both v tasty. I appreciated getting brought a tap water without even having to ask, nice touch. Friendly staff. Good WiFi. Great to sit in - or outside in the sun. Really close to Brick Lane but feels a ways away from the hustle&bustle, so a welcome respite. Clean and spacious bathroom. Interior of the café is lovely and the music was relaxing and thankfully not too loud.
One of my favourite coffeeshop. It’s very well decorated, cozy plus they serve great coffee and the staff is very friendly
Coffee Matters is an oasis within Shoreditch. A stone's throw away from the famous Brick Lane, Coffee Matters has a great selection of pastries, sandwiches and coffee, and it has a cosy interior. I love the skylight on the ground floor. It allows a great amount of natural light to illuminate the room. The smooth jazz café brings a sense of serenity to the place It's bigger than it looks with an even cosier basement with sofas and a fireplace. It's a bit like walking into someone's very trendy flat! You're likely to find a table here during the week, but on weekends, I can bet this cool cafe will be a popular destination for many locals in the know. On warmer days, there are seats outside to sip your coffee. My only gripe is that the internet speed is slow so this may not be the best place to get work done. But Coffee Matters is a brilliant place to catch up with friends, to relax, or just to escape reality with a book from the hustle and bustle of London. I highly recommend it.
