Small but very nice children's centre. They offer baby massage class for babies under 6 months and cooking class for older babies and toddlers. The massage class has great atmosphere and a nice place to meet other mums and babies. The room is normally clean and has a lot of interesting toys for the little ones.

My son has finished reception at the school and has had a great first year- in particular he has enjoyed the outdoor space and the nature garden; and has had opportunities to bring his joy of nature into the classroom. The school is friendly and open to parental involvement along with staff who are accessible to parents.

My child's happiness and success was at the top of my wish list when choosing a school and I am as pleased as I am relieved that I chose Heathbrook. It is a wonderful school with a really dynamic and conscious team of people running it. I have a child in year 4 who loves to go to school and is upset when she is too ill to go! She loves every class teacher she has ever had and even enjoys the school lunches! And when you think of it as really an inner city school that serves a richly diverse population, creating such a warm and genial community is a magnificent achievement. I know children who go to fee-paying schools who don't shine the way my daughter does. Academically, although the classes are mixed ability, the teachers pay attention to stretching the achievers too. I can't recommend it enough.

Our son has been studiying at Heathbrook for 1 year now, and we are really happy and impressed by the teachers and staff. Their level of commitment and caring is exceptional. We also find that the academic program is rigorous and really like the emphasis that is placed on treating others fairly, equaly and respectfully. A wonderful place.

Heathbrook is a fantastic place, with a really strong community feel to it. The school focuses really hard on giving the kids opportunities in music, art, sport and learning outside, and has an amazing nature garden where all the pupils spend time doing forest school. However, importantly, it also gets good results in English and Maths and gives the children a really good grounding for their learning. The curriculum is interpreted really creatively and the pupils are challenged and encouraged to achieve their best. If you're considering sending your child here, go and take a look, it is a really lovely school.
