Classic old house, spacious rooms, quiet, clean and tidy. It is a classic style, old and no tv or anything like that. Shared bathroom is the only downside. 3 black cats will always welcome you on the stairs and the fat one is the friendliest one. There's a nice little garden in front that can be used to sit down and relax or have a smoke...
Central Victorian House is a little slice of paradise on Camden Road. If you are looking to stay somewhere that is quiet and secluded but still feels a little closer to the heart and soul of Camden, this is the place. The staff are very helpful and can't do enough to make sure you are comfortable. It's a short walk to transport links and the perfect place to rest your hat on a business trip (like I did), or great if you are just looking for a cosy getaway spot for a city break. Can't recommend highly enough.
Didn't have high expectations as this wasn't a hotel, but I decided to take the gamble as I only wanted a cheap one night stay. I was pleasantly surprised. I received an email the day before with instruction on how to access the property and how to get entry to my room. This worked like a dream with no issues at all, and I was actually greeted by one of the owners when arriving which I didn't expect. The room was absolutely fine, well furnished and clean and rather large too. Shared bathroom was also very clean. Had no issues whatsoever with my stay here and would happily stay again if I ever need to be in the area.
After our apartment round the corner weren't letting us in, we phoned up to book and had us sorted out with 4 rooms for 10 drunken Scots ready in no more than 20 minutes! Great place to stay and even better person! Would recommend this place for anyone looking for a weekend in London! Enjoy your Scotland top!
