We stayed here for a night before flying back home in June 2022. The location is excellent if you're coming in by train. The furnishings aren't fancy, but I was pleasantly surprised by their the furniture they had in our room - simple, modern, and smart for the space. And it was clean. The front desk let us leave our luggage with them for a couple of hours after check out. Reception was pleasant. No breakfast. The shower on the top floor smelled much too strongly of mildew, but it looked clean. The price was excellent. We would stay here again!
Great accommodations for the area and price. Like other people have said in reviews the staircase is narrow and is difficult to haul luggage up and down but I knew that going in and it didn’t bug me. Front staff was helpful with recommendations on stuff to see and allowed us to store our bags after we checked out till we caught our train. Thanks again for the great stay.
We had to cancel due to a British rail strike. Paul sent us a nice mail and cancelled immediately. Such nice service makes us want to go to Macdonald hotel when we go to London next time. Thanks Paul and see you soon, M&V
Small hotel very conveniently located 1min away from St Pancreas train station. Rooms are on the small side but perfect for a few nights when you come to see the sights of London.
This was pretty cheap and i had my doubts, but i was so wrong. My single room was small, but very functional. It was also SUPER clean. I started checking "weird" places to find dirt, but i didnt. Communual bathroom also superclean. Compliments to the cleaner! Owner super friendly. My room had a nice view onto the park. The building is old, so there's a lot of sqeeking floors and yes, it is noisy. I would say nothing earplugs cant fix. I forgot mine and still slept trhough the night, that means it had to be very quiet at night, also outside! Location is great, just a very small walk to subway and trainstations. I heard some people hanging around in the park in the evening, but just talking/laughing. I would 100% recommend this place and i will absolutely come back next time i travel alone!
